John 3:16,17 Yes, God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him would not be lost but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world. He did not send him to judge the world guilty, but to save the world through him.

So what’s the answer when you die? Eternal life, or a blank screen? An eternity in heaven with the God who sent His Son Jesus to die and rise again for you, or complete, 100% nothing? Which will it be? Hmm?
I read something the other day that really made me smile. “I intend to live forever. So far, so good.” Yeah, right!
It kind of sums up the spirit of our times. Let’s party. Let’s have fun. Yeah – so far, so good.
Of course, if we are just children of a random evolution then there’s just one answer – party on! Take your chances and enjoy today because what else is there? Eat, drink and be merry, for tomorrow we die.
But if you sit and think about that whole eternal life thing for a bit, you may well come to the conclusion that that’s what you want – the true gift of eternal life that Jesus spoke about, that Jesus died and rose again to give you. And if that’s you – right here and now – there’s something that God wants to say to you.
John 3:16,17Yes, God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him would not be lost but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world. He did not send him to judge the world guilty, but to save the world through him.
All you need to do to receive that free gift of eternal life is to put your trust in Jesus. That’s it. I don’t mean to give a mere intellectual assent to the fact that Jesus is the Son of God, that He died and rose again for you. No, it’s more than that.
It’s about believing in Jesus, trusting Jesus, with your whole life.
That’s God’s Word. Fresh … for you … today.
